Hello colleagues! This is a very common case in our practice. I refer to this as "6 + 6 + 2" — meaning 6 implants in the upper jaw, 6 implants in the lower jaw, and 2 of those being zygomatic implants. Surgical guides were fabricated separately for the right and left sides of the upper jaw, as well as for the lower jaw.
In zygomatic implant placement, I strongly emphasize preserving the integrity of the Schneiderian membrane and the vestibular bone bridges in the alveolar ridge area. The procedure was highly successful! The outcome matched the planned results perfectly. Very high insertion torques were achieved. Multi-unit abutments were placed. Everything is ready for immediate loading.
