My Path in Medicine
My name is Dmitry Alyoshin – I am a surgical implantologist and orthopedist. I can confidently say that I have achieved significant results in my field, largely thanks to surgical guides.
My journey began in a small city – Perm. Later, my family moved to Kazakhstan, where I graduated from school. From the first grade, I was sure that I would connect my life with medicine. In the seventh grade, I decided on dentistry, and in the ninth grade – on surgery and orthopedics. This choice was my personal aspiration, even though there were no medical professionals in my family.

I graduated from the Ural State Medical Academy (Yekaterinburg) with honors.

During my student years, I began working at "UralKvadroMed" – one of the largest organizations in the city, which at the time was a dealer of almost all the most well-known brands in the industry, as well as a demonstration clinic equipped to the highest standard. There, I worked as an assistant and a technician specializing in monolithic ceramics. I gained immense experience working with modern equipment, including CEREC 3 and CEREC 4. This significantly shaped my approach to work. Even as a student, I was deeply impressed by the capabilities of digital solutions and the results they could deliver.
After completing my studies, my career progressed rapidly: I worked in a couple of small clinics and then moved to one of the branches of the "Garant" network.

It was an excellent clinic with very high standards, well-established internal management, and a great system for internal training! They had a fantastic attitude toward young doctors! I consider myself very lucky to have worked in such a clinic early in my career. A big thank you and warm greetings to Dmitry Vladimirovich Korshikov and Natalya Fyodorovna Bakumenko.

Next was a period of work at the European Dental Center under the leadership of Sergey Sergeyevich Grebenshchikov. My arrival coincided with a phase of very rapid growth for the clinic.

The number of patients kept increasing, more and more. We didn’t know where to put them all. At times, appointments were booked almost six months in advance. The number of offices and staff doctors grew. My income increased significantly. I was able to spend even more on education and attend even more training courses. When you have so much practice, so many patients, so many implantations, and when management either supports or allows you to try most reasonable and serious proposals – you grow as a specialist, and I sincerely believe that you contribute to the growth of the clinic. While working at the European Dental Center, I transformed from a good, above-average doctor into a serious specialist in orthopedics and navigational surgery, and I began actively teaching. The clinic, in turn, grew from simply large and good to a huge, impressive organization. I’d like to specially mention Sergey Sergeyevich. He is only slightly older than me. We are almost the same age. When I first started, I, and especially many older doctors, perceived him as a leader – first among equals. Over a few years, right before our eyes, he transformed into a strong, seasoned director with a capital "D". It was great working with you! Thank you for everything, and a firm handshake!

And yes, as of the time of writing this article, I still appear in various advertisements for the European Dental Center!

One of the key stages of my career was a three-year break. Three years without regular practice (only episodic referral-based practice for specific large, complex cases). Three years of almost completely free time. During this time, I attended almost all the training courses I had ever wanted to attend. Everything I could reach geographically and financially. I gained new knowledge, new connections, and strengthened my competencies.

I managed to do this because I had saved some money from my practice, and I began actively teaching during this time. I also started conducting my own training courses on the implementation of surgical guide production.
~
To date, I have conducted a total of more than 250 events in over 70 locations across 8 countries.
~
Currently, I focus exclusively on full-arch cases.
In 2023, I placed just over 1,000 implants, about 200 of which were zygomatic implants!
I am the founder of the company.
Navigational surgery remains an important topic for me, and I am working on promoting everything related to this field, including creating excellent courses on the subject.

Today, we can offer you training in navigational surgery, bone-supported surgical guides, and a comprehensive course on the Dentium system.
~
Also, "ImplantNavigator" is our own, all-powerful navigational kit. I poured all my clinical desires and ideas into it about what a navigational kit should be – one that handles both small operations and large, complex interventions equally well, with a focus on full-arch cases and bone-supported guides, of course.
We are finishing the development of a special navigational kit for zygomatic implantation. I place many zygomatic implants now and clearly understand that the existing market solutions are completely insufficient for full navigation in this type of surgery.
~
We have completed the development and are beginning production of a unique visualization system for documenting and streaming procedures. It works both during patient appointments and during master classes. It can record video from multiple cameras simultaneously, is ready for live streaming, allows for commentary recording from multiple people, and even includes solutions for simultaneous translation.
~
Additionally, for several years now, we have been operating a service for printing titanium guides for zygomatic implantation, serving all CIS countries and part of Europe.
Future plans: Starting in February 2025, we will begin conducting in-person courses on zygomatic implantation training, обязательно including digital navigation and cadaver practice using surgical guides. Subsequently, we will gather all successfully trained doctors into the "ULTRA-Level Surgical Community."
And in general
We plan to conduct educational events and implement innovative solutions that will help surgeons and orthopedists improve their skills and enhance patient treatment quality, without forgetting about the quality of life for the doctors themselves.

To work better and live more fulfilling lives. To be proud of your work. To feel amazing at work. So that prosthodontists exclaim that they want to work with this doctor because prosthetics after their surgery is a pleasure. So that when you look at your postoperative control scans, everything is so beautiful that it makes you bubble with excitement inside. So that you can feel like the most valued doctor not only in your clinic but in the entire job market.

This is what we truly need from our profession. This is why I teach navigational surgery. This is what I teach – not just how to place implants more evenly.
